Controller As this implies it controls the laser and scanner to produce the beam shows, graphics, animation and effects. Centaur DMX is usually paired with lower power lasers and has pre-programmed text, effects, animations, graphics and patterns that can be very easily called up for shows at discos, nightclubs, presentations, smaller events and for theatrical effects. However to tell a story or show complex animations at their best a screen is needed. Back projection allows the laser to project effects over the audience's heads for complex shows and excitement. Outdoors you can use a water screen which since it has no structure is not seen in daylight but at night can produce a huge screen which is still invisible until the laser hits it.
